As an engineering student passionate about problem-solving and learning, I enjoy finding creative solutions and gaining new skills along the way. I've been lucky enough to experience collaboration in a variety of close-knit teams - from a research team to a small pre-construction team in a larger company - where constructive feedback and support were emphasized. These spaces are where I've started to build a working foundation for healthy communication and respect in professional settings.
So far, my experience has involved design + modelling, coding, 3D printing, and performing quantity takeoffs + bills of materials.
With such a wide range of projects, I've had to overcome challenges that arise in areas such as learning new software, reinforcing new concepts and working around constraints and limitations.
Each challenge has served as a stepping stone, keeping me open minded to approaching solutions while building my confidence.
Now going into my third year of undergrad, I'm looking forward to implementing my learned skills and gaining industry familiarity in a focused setting.
